Training and Developing Tier 1 in Children & Young People's Mental Health

 

 

 

 

 It is increasingly accepted that the mental health of children and young people is everyone's business. In recognition of this the NCSS has a national lead for Tier 1 who is leading on the development of training materials.

Policy Context

The NSF states that 'All staff working directly with children and young people have sufficient knowledge, training and support to promote the psychological well-being of children, young people and their families and to identify early indicators of difficulty.
