The National Instititute for Mental Health in England (NIMHE) developed a service improvement competence framework to enable individuals and groups to understand the depth and breadth of service improvement.

It is intended to support the delivery of health and social care services by enabling organisations to assess the capability and capacity of individuals to improve/redesign existing services, as well as for developing training and development plans.

People can read through the different competencies and choose ones that are relevant to a specific role or team, incorporating these into their role profiles, assessment and training plans.
