- Initiating the Partnership
- Gaining key stakeholder commitment through a signed Partnership Agreement
- Establishing the MHIP local governance arrangements through the formations of a local MHIP Steering group;
- Agreeing a core set of Areas For Improvement (AFIs)
- Agreeing detailed local outcome measures that are owned by local stakeholders
- Delivering the interventions agreed in the Improvement Plan
- Reporting to the local Partnership Steering Group for the delivery of the interventions described in the Improvement Plan
- Accountability to the National Programme Board.
