Icebreakers and energisers
Ice-breakers and warm ups are used at the start of events to encourage people to get to know one another, to talk to each other and work in partnership. Energisers are also often used at events where there is a drop in energy levels, especially after lunch.
There are infinite numbers of icebreakers and energisers and this section contains just a few of them. It is essential to consider the audience (e.g. the size of the group, how well they know one another and their style of working) when deciding on which icebreakers and energisers to use.
The details about each icebreaker and energiser and supporting materials are held on an external website called the Knowledge Community that is managed by CSIP.
