The mental health simulation is a team building exercise that can be used with groups of four people, to introduce systems dynamics and the concept of process improvements to teams.

Problem and creative solution mind mapping, as the title suggests, is where groups think of all the problems in their services/system and potential solutions that could be implemented.
Provocative statements is an exercise, where teams are given a provocative statement and asked to consider how they would react to the situation i.e. there are now no psychiatrists in your area, how do you redesign the system?
St Elsewhere: A simulation of a health service system
St Elsewhere is a simulation exercise that can be used with groups of 12 people, to introduce systems dynamics and the concept of process improvements to teams.
SWOT (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats) diagrams
This exercise looks at the strengths and weaknesses of either a team, service or organisation, and the opportunities and threats of making changes.
The miracle question is a visioning and solution focused exercise, imagining how services would be if a miracle occurred.
This exercise can be used to enables teams to understand their culture, how they work, behave and think and to consider whether they have any unwritten rules that influence the way they work.
The wagon trail is an exercise that uses a metaphorical look at some of the difficulties for successfully achieving organisational change.
