It highlights how they can help by procuring high-quality, value for money, sensitive and responsive care services, and also through working partnerships with organisations that influence health and well-being.
Community Development Worker (CDW) Implementation Toolkit (SEDC)
This Implementation Toolkit has been produced to assist managers with the localised implementation of the CDW worker role as well as more specific guidance on the career development. Many of the ‘live’ examples within this Toolkit have been provided by colleagues across the Health & Social Care Community in the SE Region.
Every year a national census takes place, counting all the inpatients in mental health and learning disability hospitals on one day of the year as well as recording which ethnic groups they belong to. This report gives the results of the census that took place on 31 March 2008.

Informed Gender Practice: Mental health acute care that works for women (July 2008)
