Co Chair Wanted for the NHS East of England's Patient and Carer Programme Board

The NHS East of England has a clear and ambitious vision to provide the best health service England.

Towards the best together, Pledge One: Improving lives; Saving Lives -"we will deliver year on year improvements in patient and carer experience" is the first of eleven pledges and is a high priority for achievement.

The NHS East of England are looking for someone who lives or works in East of England to Co Chair the Patient and Carer Programme Board. You might be someone with a passion or interest for patient and carer experience or work for an organisation which represents the patient and carer view point.

The time commitment would be equivalent to 1 day a week and be based mainly at the Strategic Health Authority offices in Fulbourn, Cambridge. The appointment is offered on a voluntary basis, although expenses will be paid to support and enable participation.

The person appointed will work closely with the Clinical Co Chair of the Patient and Carer Programme Board and be instrumental in driving the implementation of Pledge 1 "we will deliver year on year improvements in patient and carer experience".
