Associate Junior Project Manager
Mita Brahmbhatt is a Associate Junior Project Manager with the Eastern Development Centre, and is currently working on the ‘Establishing an East of England Trauma Network' project as part of the ‘Toward The Best, Together' portfolio for NHS East of England.
Mita has three years health and social care based experience, working within national, regional and local public as well as third sector organisations. Educated to degree level, Mita achieved a 2:1 in BSc (Hons) Business Information Systems and is a qualified PRINCE2 Practitioner.
Mostly recently, Mita has been with NHS North East Essex where she successfully managed two projects delivering to World Class Commissioning competencies for ‘Clinical Engagement' and ‘Innovation and Improvement'. She excelled in combining local and regional priorities to improve on past achievements, by collaborating closely with wider stakeholders. She enjoys challenges in innovation and relished the opportunity to implement the pioneering ‘Clinical Roster', an enabler towards a clinically-led NHS.
Mita has experience of project management in the third sector, as part of Freemind Wellbeing Community Interest Company or Social Enterprise as better known. Previous to her work with Freemind, Mita worked with the Eastern Development Centre in its Care Services Improvement Partnership days - working programmes such as WholeLife, Equalities in Mental Health, and Older People (inc Dignity, Dementia and Long Term Conditions) programmes.
In addition to project management, Mita has strong skill sets in event management and communications. At one time, it was unusual for Mita to be at less than 2 events per week - whilst producing a bi-weekly ebulletin with an audience of 6000+ health professional across the East of England! The 2008 two-day World Health Organisation event was an example of the complex logistics involved in events management, with the coordination of speakers and delegates from across Europe.
