Knowledge Officer
Ruth is an experienced Project Officer and Event Organiser with excellent organisational skills. She has worked in the NHS for over 7 years, in various related roles. Ruth currently works as the Knowledge Officer for the EDC. She was responsible for setting up and maintaining the EDC website, arranging the transfer to new EDC branding, responsible for the development of a bespoke database and event management system for the EDC as well as the production of the EDC's external news bulletin that was disseminated out to stakeholders within the region.
Ruth worked on an NHS East of England commissioned project; updating their Long Term Conditions Practical Guide; an electronic information resource, showing examples of good practice, links to national and local documents or guidance, and other relevant material, which is contained within the NHS East of England website
Previously Ruth worked for the National Institute for Mental Health Services (NIMHE) and the Care Services Improvement Partnership (CSIP). Her roles included project managing the development of the High Impact Changes for Health and Social Care guidance and providing project support on other publications and programmes such as the 10 High Impact Changes for Mental Health Services guidance.
Ruth has a BA (Hons) in Education Studies and is a PRINCE2 and MSP Practitioner.
