DH External Gateway Process
Currently, CSIP publications must go through the Department of Health Gateway process. The team is charged with ensuring that the Department does not impose excessive burdens on NHS/Social Care organisations, allowing greater headroom to focus on the key priorities of patient care.
CSIP communications that need Gateway approval include:
- central CSIP communications including reports (eg the Annual Review), brochures etc
- best practice guidance/toolkits

Arranging Ministerial Visits
If you would like to book a minister for an event you need to write formally to the minister's office and send the attached submission form ( n.b this form must be signed by a section head level). The booking needs to be made 3-4 months in advance.
Information on booking ministerial visits
